Welcome to the Volna Hotel!

Volna Hotel**** is the first and, so far, the only European-class certified four star hotel in Nizhny Novgorod.
The idea to open such a hotel was realized thanks to the good will of its investors: the Croatian-based Autocentar Mercur Company and the Gorky Automobile Plant JSC.

The project was to build a new hotel complex on the foundation of the existing hotel constructed in 1936 by Nizhegorodsky architect V.A. Orelsky. The old building is a historical monument from the constructivism era of the 1930's. It was deemed to renovate the building while keeping its historical appearance. The new hotel was built and equipped by the Croatian company “ACM-Engineering” which has much experience in this field. It took part in constructing the Radisson-Slavyanskaya Hotel, Moscow International Airport Sheremetievo 2, a new building of the Russian Science Academy of Sience in Moscow and the Central Bank of the Russian Federation in Nizhny Novgorod.
